BRASS CLASSES
Teacher: Julian Walls
We have two tuition classes for Brass Instruments:
BEGINNERS and CONTINUATION.
For those who want to progress after two years there is a Brass Ensemble and there are also opportunities to join the Jazz Orchestra, Training Jazz Orchestra, Wind Band, Senior Orchestra and Training Orchestra.
This class is for students from around age 8 to adults, who have not played a brass instrument before.
The class caters for trumpet, cornet, tenor horn and other brass instruments.
A few instruments are available for hire from the Music Centre at a modest charge.
Instruments can also be hired from a music shop, and we can give advice on this if you wish.

CONTINUATION BRASS LESSONS
For students who have already played for approximately one year or are ready to move on to higher notes.
Students may continue to hire instruments belonging to the Music Centre if necessary.
Many of the players in this class also take part in the Training Orchestra, or one of our other Ensembles.
During the year students will be given the opportunity to perform in concerts at the Centre and family and friends are warmly invited to support these events.

For players who have been learning their instrument for about two years, we have a Brass Ensemble and
there are always vacancies for Brass players in our Orchestras.
