FLUTE CLASSES
Teacher: Natalie Smith
We have three tuition classes for Flute:
BEGINNERS, CONTINUATION and FURTHER CONTINUATION.
For those who want to progress further there is a Flute Ensemble and there are also opportunities to join the Senior Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Training Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, Training Jazz Orchestra and Wind Band.
BEGINNER FLUTE LESSONS (9.00 - 9.45 a.m.)
For students from around age 8 to adults.
Students will be required to have their own flute and will probably also need to purchase a tutor book.
It is possible to hire an instrument from a music shop, and we can give advice on this if necessary.
Towards the end of the academic year, students from this class are given the opportunity to take part in one of our many Ensembles, such as the Training Orchestra.

CONTINUATION FLUTE LESSONS (10.50 - 11.35 a.m.)
For students who have already played for approximately one year or are ready to move on to more advanced notes.
Many of the players in this class also take part in the Training Orchestra, or one of our other Ensembles.
We play a wide variety of music designed to cater for everyone's tastes and to develop ability and musical performance.

FURTHER CONTINUATION FLUTE LESSONS (11.40a.m. - 12.25a.m. and 9.50 a.m. - 10.35a.m.)
For students who have been playing for two years or more.
Many of the players in this class also take part in the Senior Orchestra, or one of our other Ensembles.
We play a wide variety of music designed to cater for everyone's tastes and to develop ability and musical performance.
