JAZZ ORCHESTRA
Director: Martin Townshend

Rehearsal time 9:10 - 10:40 am

The Jazz Orchestra is for players of approx. grade 3 standard.
We play a wide range of music in swing, rock and Latin styles.
There are opportunities for developing improvisation skills.
The orchestra performs regularly, including appearances at the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival.
The orchestra includes flutes, clarinets, saxes, trumpets, trombones, guitars, bass, keyboards and drums.

New members are always welcome, although alto and tenor saxes tend to be over-subscribed.

This year we have moved the orchestra class times to allow members to attend both the Senior Orchestra Wind Band and the Jazz Orchestra. This is explained more fully : CLICK HERE
